With the small commotion between Bella, Shou, Weed, and the strange dog Shawn all cleared up Bella and Shou went on ahead towards the graves of Sirius and Hiro to pay their respects. Bella still held the flowers in her mouth that she had collected back at the field, and carried them gently, taking caution so she would not damage the stems.
As she padded beside her comrade and smiled at him softly she knew this visit wouldn’t be easy, or fun and games, it was always emotional going to see where their loved ones lay buried. For Bella it always made her feel sad, but she knew that for others it could make them angry, or both angry and sad. It was understandable, losing a loved one was not easy, no matter how much time passed why.
She couls see the grave site coming up ahead, “You ready?” She asked Shou with a gentle, but curious, woof.

“Yeah, i’m ready” the other replies his large paws, the ones he got the from the man buried in front of him move forward and he gently places the flowers on the mound of dirt. Brown colored eyes peer at the line of graves before he returns to staring down at Hiro’s with a sad smile. “Hey there dad” he murmured softly “how are you?” He questions, knowing that only the wind would answer him.

Bella said nothing more as they approached the buried dogs, letting Shou say what he needed to without interrupting. Sirius' grave was merely a few pawsteps away from Hiro's and the silver furred female made her way over to it. She put down her own flowers that she had collected, staring down at the mound in the ground that was her deceased brother. Without lifting her head she could hear Shou a few steps away talking to Hiro, and Bella thought to do the same.
"Brother," She began to greet, trying to keep a smile on her face. She wouldn't want to cry in front of her older brother, she knew that would make Sirius sad... However, a lump that formed in her throat was beginning to betray her. "I h-hope you're doing well, I'm s-sure you're looking down on all of us," She continued, swallowing hard. "Nothing much has changed between mom and dad... Mom is still really upset... And as much as I understand... It's still sad..." She sighed as she realized that she was starting to complain to her deceased sibling. Telling him all of this would only worry him from beyond the grave. Bella decided to change the subject.
"Shou is here too, he's visiting Hiro... Is he doing good too? I hope so." Bella lifted her head and peered at the other dog, sending him a worried glance. This was probably just as hard for him as it was for her.

Shou continues to bow in front of the grave, telling his father about his day, how the rest of the family was. He told about Shawn, about the possible new threat of some dog named Burai and how he would be proud of how his friend and leader had handled it or at least how he hoped he would be.
“Dad....” Shou’s voice cracks sharply as he looks at the grave. “How are the others? is the river nice, the fields?” his muzzle presses into the dirt at close as possible that he could get to his father. “What is it that you want me to do? I’m already a strong soldier like you”

Now, Bella should not have been eavesdropping, it wasn’t exactly polite, especially when someone was having a private conversation, but the crack in Shou’s voice made Bella’s heart sink, feeling for the other canine. She felt her throat tighten again, and blinked away tears. She stared down at her brother’s grave, having picked several flowers for him. With a moments pause, the silver female bent down and picked one up, slowly stepping towards Shou and where his father was buried. She stopped beside the larger dog, and placed the flower on Hiro’s grave. Bella didn’t speak, paying respects for the dog that saved her grandfather’s life silently, and giving Shou respect for what he needed to say to his father. She hoped to try and comfort her friend by being there with him, but was unsure if she was doing the right thing.
